Louisiana Vending SMS Program – Terms, Privacy & Compliance

SMS Terms and Conditions

By opting in to the Louisiana Vending SMS program, you consent to receive text messages from Louisiana Vending and agree to the following terms and conditions, as well as our Privacy Policy, outlined below (in compliance with TCPA and CTIA guidelines).

Program Description: When you opt in, you will receive SMS and MMS text messages from Louisiana Vending on your mobile device.
Message Type: You will receive account alerts and important updates via SMS. These messages may include transactional updates (e.g. order confirmations, delivery alerts) and marketing/promotional content (e.g. product updates, special offers), as applicable, scheduling and confirming service appointments, providing customer support, sending updates on orders or deliveries, occasionally sharing promotions or special offers related to vending machines and parts. We will clearly identify our business in our messages so you know they are from Louisiana Vending.
Message Frequency: You will receive periodic text messages; message frequency may vary based on your interactions and the nature of updates (approximately 4 messages per month or fewer, unless otherwise noted). We will not send unexpected or excessive messages – the frequency will match what we describe at opt-in.
Costs: Message and data rates may apply to any SMS/MMS messages sent or received under this program. Louisiana Vending does not charge you for participating, but you are responsible for any messaging or data fees imposed by your mobile carrier. If you have questions about your text or data plan, please contact your wireless provider.
Opt-Out (Stopping Messages): You can cancel the SMS service and withdraw your consent at any time. To opt out, simply text “STOP” to our number (the same number from which we text you). After we receive a STOP request, we will promptly send a final SMS to confirm you have been unsubscribed, and no further messages will be sent thereafter. (No marketing or other texts will be sent once you opt out, aside from this confirmation.) You can also opt out by contacting us directly via the contact information below, and we can manually remove you from the SMS list.
Opt-In (Resuming Messages): If you have opted out and later wish to re-subscribe, you may opt in again via our website form or by sending a designated re-subscription keyword (for example, text “START” or “UNSUBSCRIBE” to our number) to rejoin. By opting in again, you are reconfirming your agreement to these SMS terms and our Privacy Policy.
Help & Support: If at any time you need assistance with the SMS program, you can reply “HELP” to our number for guidance. In response, we will send a message with instructions or contact information for support (including our business name and how to reach us, such as a phone number, email, or website link for customer support). For assistance, text HELP to our number (the same number from which we text you).
Carrier & Service Disclaimer: Delivery of SMS messages is subject to effective transmission by your mobile carrier. Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. We strive for timely delivery but cannot guarantee it due to carrier and network factors beyond our control.
Privacy: We value your privacy. We never share your mobile number or opt-in information with third parties for their marketing or promotional use. Any personal information you provide will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy (see below or link provided). If you have questions regarding privacy or data usage, please refer to the Privacy Policy or contact us using the information provided there.
Eligibility: By subscribing to our SMS program, you represent that you are the owner or authorized user of the mobile phone number provided and that you are at least 18 years of age (or have parental consent if required). You should notify us if your mobile number changes or is reassigned to ensure we discontinue texts to your former number.
Modification of Terms: We reserve the right to update or amend these SMS Terms and Conditions at any time to reflect changes in the law or our messaging practices. We will post any revisions on our website (and/or notify subscribers if appropriate). Your continued enrollment in the SMS program after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. (We include the “Last Updated” date at the end of this document for your reference.)
